Emiliana Torrini – Birds

Remember that time we pulled it off?
In our cabin, we sat and talked and drank and smoked.
We glanced at the clock and all of a sudden it read 6:02 am.
Our eyes were screaming exhaustion, but we kept going.
We looked out the window and the field was colored in a way that we had never seen before.
Sounds were different too.
The country life was slowly waking up from its slumber.
We let it take over.
Everything else came to consciousness.
So we finally resigned.
And went dreaming.
